I've been going for 3 years with very few problems. The majority of those few problems are very recent.

This MS clinic could be great, unless you have an issue with the doctor that they assigned to you. You do not get to choose the doctor you see, they assign them and if you don’t like that doctor you have a problem it is quite a process to see if they will allow you to switch doctors. I have chosen to go somewhere else instead of going through that.

I had been diagnosed and treated for MS for 9 years prior to seeing Dr Stephanie Taylor. She had limited access to my medical records but quickly decided I did not have MS and spent the rest of the visit convincing me of this, that my prior neurologist had done me wrong, that she was more qualified to decide and to stop taking my MS meds. Turns out Dr Taylor was absolutely WRONG! I do have MS and am now in an active relapse and struggling to function because of being taken off my MS meds. Dr Taylor’s “facts” about MS were incorrect, her medical advice has caused my health to decline, further research proved she lied about her education and years of experience and after obtaining a copy of my medical records I found out Dr Taylor falsely documented many aspects of my visit. Dr Taylor is not competent to treat MS patients and her lack of competence is dangerous to patients!!!

We have been coming to this location for years and always had a wonderful experience from start to finish. This time the nurse that took my husband's vitals and information was unprofessional. Her name was Teresa and instead of weighing him she just asked what do you weight and your height. Um that's your job to weigh him in each visit. Not have him guess. She just acted like we were a bother to her and we've never had a nurse treat us like that. Reception and Dr Moses were amazing as usual.

The garage is for employees only, but there is street parking in front and a big parking lot in back with wheelchair access (on drive-up to the door or the closer row of parking spaces; the farther row will have stairs). If you're facing the building from the front, parking lot access is on the right side of the building. There is construction going on in the vacant lot to the right of this building, but the parking lot is not blocked (it will look like it until you get up close).
Call the clinic and they will walk you through it.
If you believe that you have MS, see a neurologist then let him determine whether to put you through the several tests to confirm MS, not just one. If you don't have insurance it will be more difficult. If you do have it (God forbid) it is better to get tested as soon as possible to prevent more damage. I was diagnosed in 2006 at the age of 32 thank God I am still walking, have some mobility issues on my left side from one of the attacks, have not had one since 2008. Good Luck and God Bless!
The Vanderbilt clinic is the best. They'll do some tests including MRIs and spinal tap. Good luck! MS isn't fun but the MS clinic will help you along the way.
My son in law has used the clinic and currently in their rehab facility. From what I have heard from both my daughter and son in law they really like the services at the MS Clinic @ Bandy and the rehab services...
