I would also like to know if there is a noise ordinance, live in the 1500 block of Derry and every night the neighbors blast their music. Actually it starts in the afternoon and goes sometimes until 5am. This is so disrespectful. What can be done

You can do what I did almost 30 years ago. Move away. It wasn't just the car boom boxes. I was in City Towers and the church next door kept ringing their musical chimes multiple times every day 120 feet from my head when I worked two jobs and slept the day shift. Now in my retirement years I'm in a lovely, roomy 2-bedroom in a quiet neighborhood. If I remember right a Haitian drug dealer got his head chopped off with a machete while I was there. Two 15-year olds from New York City sprayed a building on the hill with machine gun fire and a stray killed an 18-year-old preacher's son and honor student a block away. I wouldn't go near Market St., was rarely on Derry for anything. And uptown only when necessary. Downtown was bad enough. Then as today, don't linger sitting in your car parked on 2nd. You're in a vulnerable position that way.

They won't do a damn thing... I've called about noise coming from the neighbor's house. She claims she related to Chief Carter. Must be, cause they never come out unless it's a domestic.
