United Steam. I would never approach them. I used to work for the police department. I think that's why I am so upset. No not as a cop. But now I am 70 years old & can't get any help from them. My house got broken into several years ago & it took them 3 hours to show up. They told me to stay out of the house because they may still be in there. Finally I called my daughter & she called them. They were there in like 5 - 10 minutes. Sometimes I am ashamed to tell anyone I live in Harrisburg. There's some nights I would like to fire my handgun up in the air just to scare them. But I would be the one who got arrested. Besides I have it for personal protection. .thanks for the advice and for listening.
As of lately, the Harrisburg Police department has been slacking on noise complaints. They told an associate of mine that violent crime comes first, which is understandable, but left him in a bad predicament with a noisy neighbor as well. If they need an exact address, I am not really sure what to do, especially if asking around puts you in danger. Maybe ask a trusted neighbor if they could help by backing you up or calling as well. What ever you do, do not approach someone if they seem intoxicated, this will avoid any altercations or arguments that could make your life miserable, as the department may hold you responsible and not your neighbors. Wish I had better advise...good luck and be safe.
