I read that there are places you can swim at in Sky Meadows. I downloaded a brochure, but the brochure doesn't point out the designated areas where swimming is permissible. Where can you swim?

There are no swimming spots that I'm aware of in the park. Turner Pond would be the only logical place, but there are some large Snapping Turtles in residence and the bottom is extremely muddy. I believe Shenandoah River State Park has swimming available. I have to say, dipping one's toes in Gap Run creek after hiking Piedmont, Ambassadors White House, North Ridge, and Gap Run trails is pretty close to heaven. Hope this helps.
