The "Nature Trail" loop is easy, and starts and ends where the bathrooms are. Taking the Palmetto Trail from the trailhead allows you to get to Fairforest Creek quickly. Of course, the trail continues but after playing in the creek (nice and wide), you can just turn around and head back.
