I was diagnosed with a Stage II Brain Tumor and the Dr at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden Utah said I had a year to 1 1/2 to live, Then he turns around and calls HCI. 11 years later, I'm still alive and I will NEVER go to either McKay Dee Hospital nor Dr Walker anymore! If anyone tells you or your family that you have Cancer, get a second opinion from Huntsman Cancer Institute.
The Huntsman is the only place you should go for cancer treatment. The doc's are great and there are a ton of resources to help with all around care. mentally and physically for both patient and the families. They offer counseling, yoga, social workers, art classes and most of all, the best docs. They are so knowledgeable and really do care about you as a patient and take time to really listen to you and explain things easily. They also work very closely with the university hospital which is right next door. I have stage 4 cancer and can't imagine going anywhere else. Take a tour. It might help!
Huntsman is the only place I will take my hubby. They are in the top in the nation and work closely with the university of Utah hospital. Ranked #1 as of august 1, 2017 in the country.
I can't imagine going anywhere but Huntsman. I'm on my 2nd go around in SL.
Huntsman is the best, I go there and I do what they say the are the best the doctors are top notch. You couldn't find a better place. They do everything and the there is a place like I extremely recommend you go there.
You can keep covered and make sure that the ones you love keep protected early to prevent damaging exposure to the sun. Best wishes
