You have them assign you a pin number And when you call you tell them that number and that gets you drectly to your Dr.or patient team never had problem
I never experienced that problem, however you must keep calling back if you have a need for the people at Huntsman. They are extremely busy and have so many patients. Clearly you are not getting past the reception desk to your provider or his/her assistant(s). The people answering the phone have a constant stream of calls, and give very excellent care to each person they are helping both on the phone and in person. My only advice is to keep trying until you can get through to someone and ask for a better number with a direct contact. It is my experience that each patient is equally important, and your provider needs to be made aware of your concerns. They would never want this kind of same to continue happening. As others have said it does depend on the department you are trying to contact.
It depends on which department you're calling and how overbooked they are. I have EXCELLENT SERVICE with Brain, Head and Neck services, so I really don't know what to tell you. Whay type of cancer is being diagnosed?
It took our Dr and myself calling. But when they started, I was getting 15 calls a day
Thank you for your suggestions, just disappointed at this point more than anything. Both the Doctors office and I have left several messages, hopefully soon I guess.
Cross your fingers. Cancer Institute is terrible for phone calls
I have not had that problem, so dont know what to suggest. Sorry.
