Dear Kenya embassy DC, When do I get my passport back? It has been 5 months and still waiting. I have called every single day since January 2nd and no one picks up call. I am stuck here waiting .

You have nothing to lose by going. You can even try calling Nyayo house in Nairobi since it's unlikely you will get much help here. Good luck to you though

We did the same thing on 10th Jan (dont live at the east coast), we were told at the moment they have passports from applications made in Sept. So assuming, you will get to know the current status, other than that it seems there is no proper tracking channel to exactly tell you where you stand. You can still try though.
