You will also be able to have the kids get in some old cars which usually fascinates them as much as a ride if the rides aren't happening..
I'm not sure if there will be rides available that weekend. I would definitely call ahead to see what special events are occuring. Even if there are no rides per say, there are plenty of trains to explore.
