Where are the closest hotels?

Go to any of the downtown hotel's. The town is well worth every penny

Look at the downtown hotels. Hilton, Marriott, Holiday inn are there. The historic roundhouse was built and the museum came out of it. Great experience.

You can stay anywhere in Baltimore and be an Uber away from the museum. But as stated before, this isn't the best part of town so staying "nearby" isn't an option.

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor not too far and you can find a good price online

Not sure on where the closest hotels are, but just a heads up, there's a methadone clinic just around the block. I was suprised when I visited last year that it isn't a better part of town. It's a nice museum however, but all of the rolling stock isn't present for you to see.

Right downtown its literally right there like 5 blocks away from the museum
