Yes - I have seen many dogs walking the trails
No really but most people bring there Dog's in from the new woods entrance , clean up after them
Technically i don't think you are supposed to have your dog in the park, but there are always dogs in the woods and down at the beach. I've been going to this preserve for years and always have seen people walking their dogs. Beware there are ticks if you go off paths into woods.
On the beach as well
Dogs are forbidden, with signs stating this. However, those signs went up only after the lovely old Pratt estate was turned into a Holocaust museum in mid/late '90s. So we all who've enjoyed bringing our dogs to this idyllic "doggie" place long b4 that inexplicably located museum showed up ignore those signs, (since it's a stupid, dictorially unnecessary demand), and there's never been any repercussions. Not a "dog cop" in sight, lol! Just please have the courtesy & decency to keep your dog leashed at all times. And as needed in all woods, fields, marshes & beach walks, check for ticks! (I always enjoy the tick warning sign in parking lot - "actual size"- with a pic of a tick the size of a baselball, lol!).
Seen them there but watch for ticks!!
