The location is what you really want in this hotel. I am a local but I stayed here when I had to evacuate because of Hurricane Irma. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's literally a 2 minute walk to Pointe Orlando and the Orlando Eye. Lots of fun bars, restaurants and shopping in the area. Universal Studios is a 5 minute drive, Disney and Sea World 10 minutes down the road. They have a 24 hour convenience store that has food, hygiene products, etc. They have a coffee bar and ice cream open until 10ish every day. They have karaoke most nights and the breakfast and dinner buffet was good as well.
We've been for the last 5yrs and can't really fault it. Rooms are kept clean and tidy. There's a bar, coffee shop, lite bite and restaurant. It's very central to everything you need.
Always go here when we visit Orlando. O.k. its not the Ritz, but its always been fine for us. 3 pools, Walgreens, CVS and other stores very close by. Pizza hut next door. Will always choose this place.
Towels are tiny, so if you have room, I'd recommend taking your own. The rooms are supplied with a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Coffee, creamer, and sugar are restocked daily, but only a couple of each so if there's more than 2 people drinking it, or if you like more than one cuppa, you'll need to buy something while you're over there. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are also restocked daily (tiny hotel bars and bottles)
Good hotel in the PERFECT location. Hotel is not blow you away nice by any means. However, rooms are comfortable and atmosphere around is wonderful
This hotel is a perfect selection. It has very confortable rooms, microwave and frigobar, three pools, gym, laundry room and very affordable prices. Has very good packages with Universal. Nearby, Walgreens (a retail store) and Señor Frogs (excellent and affordable mexican food) and Domino Pizza. It also has a complimentary shittle to Universal and Sea World
This hotel elevator are small. The buffet and breakfast is a good price
Its a nice place, its got a fridge and microwave, close to abstractions and bars bring your own personal hygiene stuff and have a great time
Location is good. Place was surprisingly nice for the price but it is no frills+ I'd say.
The hotel was just ok. The awesome part is that it's near everything. Bring your own tooth brush but otherwise they supply soap and toothpaste (ask when you check in).

Yes pretty standard hotel with everything you would expect. And like some else said, there are a few stores at walking distance.
Your regular personal toiletries, if you forget something there's a 24 hour CVS pharmacy right next door. If you have any specific taste and preference then bring it, if not you'll be fine.
