We do not recommend swimming in the pond. There is a public pool 1/2 mile down the road at Bowers Mansion Regional Park (Opening Memorial Day Weekend) for folks who wish to swim. 'Swimmers Itch' is still a possibility.
Not sure why anyone would want to swim there. There wasn't a sign two weeks ago. It is a Fishing Pond and the park does not promote it as a swimming location.
Yes it's present we call it the 10 year itch.
When I was there 4 days ago, I did not see this sign and my kid swam in the water and is fine
