No email account required and having one does not impact your wait time. See https://dchealth.dc.gov/vital-records for requirements. You can also see current wait times on the website. Typically, it's faster of you come before 10am.
Come on now...read my review....it took me over 40 minutes to get in then another 15 to 20 minutes to get my father's death certificate...metal detector and X-ray machines at entrance...I had less than a gram of Medical marijuana and the guards REFUSED entry even after I shouwed them my Medical marijuana card that can cost over $150 to acquire. You sign in at a desk after being searched them they point to a bank of computer screens and keyboards. If you cant set up am email account...you're in for a long wait...if you can you're in and out in 15 minutes or less... 👌
