Some of the nearby hotels like Marriott and Holiday Inn offer packages complete with perks and bus transportation to Disney that are far cheaper than staying on property. Check into them. Saratoga Springs is almost all DVC property.
We are DVC members as well, so we "pay" with points. I believe it is considered a "moderate" price hotel, but that is moderate by Disney standards.
