Keep in mind there are two more right behind Irma.
The current track says there will probably be category 2 winds hitting the area, which sounds bad but by Florida standards shouldn't be much of an issue. I have high confidence in LBV civil engineering so flooding should be well controlled. It's really a question of how the the storm affects the cast members, and of course the track could change at any point. I wouldn't cancel until after the storm passes and there's a fair assessment of where things stand. For the most part we're built to take this kind of storm event. Most of us have been through several, and our infrastructure and homes are designed with it in mind.
Irma is hitting but the impact is uncertain. The parks are likely to reopen quickly, but it will depend on the damage. It's supposed to be a fairly glancing blow, without hurricane force winds at the moment, but the info changes nearly hourly at this point. I'd watch and wait. You'll be able to get a better idea by Tuesday what things are like here.
