The highline runs about a mile through Manhattan. I'd recommend finding a place on the North end, as the Chelsea market area tends to be quite busy.
After a long pointless street side search thru the varous week day restrictions, we finally parked for the afternoon, parkfast at 10th Ave and 20th for $40. It would have been better to leave our car in Brooklyn and use the 40 towards uber/lyft. Yes, 30 or so each way is more $$ but time was also a factor. If you want to save $$, go mass transit. But at least skip the parking hassle. Meanwhile, the high line is worth the hassle!
