Is building #1 as horrible as the reviews are saying? If so, and we get put in building #1 when we get there, can we request a new room in a different building? Travelling from Canada with 6 kids and we want them to have the best experience possible.

Building 1 has recently been renovated, so I doubt you will get a bad room

We just stayed in building 1 and it was great. Pool right there. Kids had lots of fun.
