It depends on which building you're staying in. Distance is similar to a hotel setup. You should request a room near the entrance or elevator.
You need to look at which buildings are near the club house. We stayed in building 2 I think which was right accross from the club house, but overall it really depends because the property is really huge
We were there last week and it wasn't very busy. If you were to request a 1st floor room away from the elevator, you might be able to find a parking spot outside your room. If he is a veteran, they have a vet parking spot near elevator.
It's the same distance as if you stayed at a hotel. It could be up against the building or away from the building. First come first serve. But if your husband is handicapped, then you'll get a spot in a HC spot up against the building.
