Hi we are looking to hire a vehicle when in Orlando my question is we do not hold credit cards but have what we call in the UK debit cards with the VISA symbol, do you take as security deposit VISA debit card.

Usually US car rental agencies do accept debit cards, but they might require a larger hold on the card that may take longer to be returned. Call them to check.
