I just read that you don't take reservations any longer? Why is that? We always camp there several times a year and I was trying to look for an opening but that is what it said? Thank you.

Reservations are generally no longer made through the state park office/kiosk itself, but rather at reservecalifornia.com. SPT most certainly still takes reservations.
