Tons of trash along road to entrance, and trash on left at trail head. Tons of horse flies and was muddy and looked like there was some water. We weren't prepared, going back today 09/03 with raincoats and bug repellent.

Sworm of insects will greet you at the entrance and all up the trail. I MEAN SWORM NOT JUST A FUE INSECTS.

Never go here ... Partly a nature trail partly a future super fund site ... If u look hard enough u'll probably find a corpse

I call this a rustic trail. My shoes got wet and muddy on the trail to the left, got a couple of sawgrass cuts and mosquito bites. There's a small loop trail to the right and I saw a good variety of birds including cardinals, doves, 2 kinds of woodpeckers, and warblers. As I drove out, I saw an 8' alligator and a little blue heron in the trench. I'll probably go back.

No... Just a nature trail
I don't know about the southern Park by Wal-Mart. I go to the northern part of the park on 52 west of 19. Very often the trails are wet and not even walkable unless one has rubber boots on.
No playgrounds. Trails and kayaks.
