Beautiful beach, lots of wildlife, just a good day.

Absolutely beautiful. If you are a water baby I highly recommend.

Great beach! The picnic area was very spacious and clean! Beautiful! We had an amazing time with family and friends.

Had a great time at the beach! Very shallow sandy beach. Tides were pretty calm when we went. Stayed for a few hours and it was perfect! Restroom available. Pets not allowed on the beach, so it was very clean and a calm atmosphere. Coveted picnic areas also available. Will definitely visit again.

when will the southend of the park reopen?
YES, but campsite availability is severely limited due to hurricane damage.
Yes it is
Do you mean the dunes? If so yes. The bridge takes you over the innercoastal.
We reserved a shelter and had a birthday party with about that many people. If it is a peak day like a weekend during the summer... Go ahead and pay to reserve or you may be out of luck on a place to gather. It gets busy.
Yes you can book overnight camping stays on the little talbot state park home page. It links out to make a reservation site where you can pick days and camping type.
No gift store, but if your camping there they have these wonderful backpacks you can check out for a few days for kids. They are free and filled with local nature info, binoculars, magnifying glasses, and a scavenger hunt.
If your just going for the day its $5 can a car load up to 6 people
We found sand dollars all over too. Most weren't whole but we found 5 that were.
Beautiful beach for walking or looking for shells. Wasn't crowded when we visited. Very relaxing with beautiful sand and surf. Found several sand dollars and many shells. The neighborhood surrounding it is very pleasant.
You know that's a great question. Of all the times I've been there, I've never seen anyone doing that, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. I'm pretty sure the park rangers there could give you clarity.
We're in st augustine koa now we have been hear week gulf coast Louisiana and Mississippi and retired camping in a small bus
if you go up to the ranger station (across the street) they will check you in and give you code
According to my gps watch, .15miles. so like nothing
The number for the rangers station is 1 904-251-2320. They can help, but only during office hours. There is no camp office, just a ranger's station and a ranger or two that live in the park after hours. They can answer questions, but anything reservation related is handled through reserve America. Called them today and confirmed this
No
Yes
Yes. People fish there all the time.
Little tablet island still rent bikes they're great bikes $2 by the hour or $10 for the day an excellent experience I believe you will enjoy the experience have fun enjoy
They have an area near the bathrooms with picnic tables that have charcoal grills beside them
They do have rv sites and waste disposal also have potable water hook ups
Perfect place for picnics. Tables, grills and they are covered!!
Campground yes, Beach no. But dogs are allowed on some beaches at nearby Amelia island which is where I carried mine twice last year while staying at Talbot
Can only camp for two weeks, all daily rates
Not to my knowledge. I was there three weeks ago, and swimming was fine
I think they're at least 2 campsites listed as handicapped that are right next to the restrooms with concrete walkways to the restroom. And the campsites are mostly gravel but it's very fine and well packed so it's like hard dirt so it should be no problem for a wheelchair
And that includes getting in to the park to go to the beach !!!😁
They are open, but first come first served and you can't take the whole pavilion up its shared with anyone.
Do not know. Best bet is to call the park or park service to ask....
We found parking for our camper no problem. I was so surprised. My mom, a disabled senior citizen, was able to come enjoy for a while and then go cool off in the a/c.
You can see the military base from Talbott but you'd have to take the ferry or go around to the other side of the river in to Mayport if you wish to access it
$24 per night with $6.70 reservation fee.
Long Point Park is on a different island in the Indian River Lagoon.
Can you provide a link to the location your refering too?
