Yes we have a panning beach along the river that you can bring your own gold pan and pan in the river during park hours. This is a hands and pans only area which means no shovels, metal detectors or any other tools. We also have panning lessons in our troughs and do lessons everyday on the hour between 10:00am-4:00pm. The cost is $7.00 per person and you get a vial to keep what you find in it to take home. On hot days please call ahead to our museum at (530) 622-3069 as sometimes we close up early due to extreme heat.
Yes and they have panning lessons too
Yes, they have a small designated beach for gold panning. We panned there last August, had fun but didn't find anything.
