Very informative visit to the lighthouse and museum. The Docent was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I had a beautiful date with my fiance here at the gasparillo Island State Park. He packed us a lunch and we went to have a picnic. At first I was worried about the mosquitoes but it ended up not being that bad. The view though in the shape of the island it's overall incredible it's absolutely gorgeous a must see..

Yes the beaches are all open through sunsets.
I assume a hurricane
No.. and don't stay on any Florida beach golf side at night unless you don't mind sand fleas.. they always tear me up when it's dark out
No, closest boat ramp is Eldreds Marina. There's also another boat ramp next to Eldreds.
You can launch from the park but be careful the current is very swift and strong
Right before the bridge, or maybe in town.
Before you go over the bridge onto the island there is a public boat ramp
Yes, all week.
Hi 1st we are only Google Local Guides who try our best to help with any questions that many people ask. The BEST way for HOTELS closest to the park is to ask Google to locate hotels near the park and it will show you how far, cost and can even make reservations for you too. It's not that difficult to use either. Enjoy the park! I myself are heading down to Florida just a wee bit north of the park in 2 weeks. Yipeee time to see my Granddaughters and enjoy the weather. So Mr and Mrs Ryan enjoy the weather and that weekend too. Good luck
I have seen people with drones before. Not sure if they had permission, but seemed as if they just showed up and did it.
Try the bay instead. Great fishing for sheepshead.
Yes, NOAA is the best site
No there are signs up. No pets allowed on the beach its self. They do have a dog park area by the church
There is a no dog sign at the first entrance to the beach. Maybe take the trail in and enter the beach from the end of the trail, no signs there!
People do camp out and fish but it's not a formal campground. There is a restroom and outdoor shower but no other amenities
