9/24/22 11:30 am I witnessed an older customer talked to rudely when he was attempting to get assistance with an item. As they walked away towards the register to check out another customer, the worker continued talking about how difficult it was to do their job when they were the only person working. When I went to check out, I was spoken to rudely for the entire transaction. At first it was tone, then it was the words and body language. I refuse to be belittled so I walked out without my my items or paying for them. I understand retail is not an easy job sometimes, but DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON THE CUSTOMERS, especially when they have needs that are genuine and were nothing but polite and pleasant. Looking on Google maps for a different dollar general to shop at.

They are never open and when they are it’s only for half the time. They have a piece of paper covering their hours which is totally not ok. I had my 1 year old sleep in the car trying to get milk 5 mins before they closed they saw me parked and immediately closed the door. I mean absolutely unacceptable. Get it together

Rude cashiers, not organized,dirty and unpleasant, it really need to be shut down!!

The employees are ALWAYS polite and helpful..for some reason they can't keep the place staffed... multiple times I have passed other stores intending to stop at this Dollar General around the corner from my house and it's been CLOSED EARLY (HOURS not minutes).. items are still in shipping boxes sitting in the isles instead of on the shelves most of the time. It's apparent that they are VERY under staffed and the few employees they DO have are very overwhelmed. Update: 2yrs and nothing has changed ...closed as early as 6pm Most of the time
