To receive services, any, at the VA is a lenghy process. First you have to register and have an appointment with your primery care. Then he or she will refer you to an specialist. Then Specialty care MD will decide. Might send you out to Community Care outside the VA system. Then you need to see your Primery Care MD again, it's a lenghy road to dissatisfaction. It's a game you need to know how to play and for Dialysis there is no time to waste. Pharmacy and Meds is worh it, but should run out of refills it's a waiting game. The system is overwhelming with patients, not enough personnel. Dr Jafari an ENT MD. did a great job on a 3 1/2 hour surgery on my sinuses very greatful for that. Don't ever miss an appointment. Dialysis could be done right away i feel and so is the Pharmacy. The rest might take a while. Transportation am not sure, depends where he lives. I like the Hospital i eat there oftentimes buy staff at the Px, just have to ne very patient.
Yes, this VA Medical Center is a full service VA Hospital.
Yup
Yes. West Palm Beach VA is a Hospital
Yes, if he is registered in the VAMC system.
If your dad is registered with rhe VA system he can get these services through VA..but...he would need to be close to a VA hospital....your best bet would be to contact the VA hospital in city your dad is going to be visiting to ensure he cab get the care he needs. If he is already receiving care thru VA hospital where he lives they can do the groundwork so when he arrives in FL he will know what facility he needs to ho to.
Yes all of the above
