Dr. Juan Carlos Muniz medical assistance is the worst staff member ever. Beyond rude is very disrespectful. She answers back to you like she is talking to her relatives...... I am on the process of getting all my records and find another specialist. I am sorry for Dr. Muniz who is very diligent but I have no intention to continue dealing with his assistance. I am paying for my service. This is not social services.

Staff is HORRIBLE. I cannot drive because I have epilepsy and the day of my appointment I was about to order my Uber and I get a notification saying my location of my appointment was changed because their “computers were down” I took off work for this appointment..they were rude had no sympathy…they even said they couldn’t get me in for my original appointment..so I couldn’t go into work until later. They would not answer their phones I was on the phone for hours waiting for them to answer to make sure my appointment was confirmed…I get to my appointment and their phones were working perfectly fine and so was their internet…the doctor was nice and didn’t have an issues with him. I will be seeing him thru telehealth

The office staff isn't the best at all especially if you're calling the office. The medical assistants claim they never get any of the messages I leave. One day I needed my doctor to be paged because my migraine meds weren't working and the staff never called me back. They need to do something about their staff. I'm only giving 3 stars because my doctor Juan Carlos Muniz is the best and visits with him are very quick, helpful, and informative.

I spoke to the scheduling coordinator Kelly Lynn two weeks ago and she said that she would get me an appointment as soon as possible and she took all of my health insurance information and that she was just waiting for the referral to be sent over by my primary. I called the following week and spoke to someone else in the office who said that they did have the referral as of Monday and that Kelly Lynn would call me back that day to schedule an appointment. I have since left over six messages at both offices for Kelly Lynn who is apparently the only person you can speak to schedule and she will not return my phone calls. I am losing function and sensation from the neck down and have a significant neck injury that my doctor has insisted I see a neurosurgeon immediately. In my messages I have begged her and have been asking her to please just tell me if they cannot get me in for an appointment so that I can ask my primary for a referral to another facility and she still will not return my phone calls. It is urgent that I see a neurosurgeon and she has all of the information that she needs and the referral and she still will not return over eight phone calls to two different facilities even though she’s had the referral for over two weeks. The doctor needs to be made aware that this is how his staff is treating potential patients and it does not set up a good sense of the type of care that you’ll be receiving with this facility in general. After several hours on the phone I finally got approved for a referral to another neurosurgeon and even without the referral they went ahead and made an appointment for me for the very next day and then I was able to push through the referral department to send the referral over so I can be seen in less than 24 hours. This shows that it is not as difficult as Kelly Lynn and this facility are making it seem to get an appointment and you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
