I have a 9 year old Yorkie that I can no longer keep, he’s not nice to other dogs but he’s great with humans (especially kids). I’m moving into an apartment complex so I can no longer keep him, is anyone interested in taking him in?

I'm sorry but honestly having some random person take your dog is not a responsible thing to do either. If you want to give him up to the shelter then just make an appointment with ACC its free when you make an appointment and they will take him in. If you can not wait its a 50.00 fee. Or even try another dog rehoming group on facebook. But to randomly put your dog in harms way by not vetting the person is not the way to go. Best of Luck

The last dog We took in was a Yorkie, Cody and oh God, He was such a Gentleman in the true sense of the word. We had 2 other small dogs at the time, females and Cody would let them eat and drink first. He recently left Us and left a gaping whole in Our hearts. We have experienced losing 2 dogs in Our lives and We've vowed to not get any more dogs for now, not till We have rid Ourselves of the trauma that is about to hit Us when We have to let go of Abi, and Ari Our Girls. I agree with Caroline, do seek out a shelter for Your Yorkie, please 🙏. I'd wish I could have been the One to take Him, again My Sincere apologies and God bless You.

I was under the impression that I was writing this message to the animal shelter, I don’t want to just give my dog to a random but thanks for the advice!

I agree with Caroline DLR. I'm not a "dog 🐕 person". Please think before you just hand him over.
