I just lost my shih tzu to cancer, on Nov 29,2017. It was the hardest decision of my life. I had her since she was 8 weeks old. She was 14yrs old when she pass. It's your decision do what's best for the dog, you don't want her to suffer. Good Luck, In My Prayers!!
Well I would call, I understand the dog is sick , and some people don't get it. I had to put down my 14 year old dog because of cancer. It's the quality of life that the dog is having. So to the person who says take the dog to be adopted is not doing the right thing for the animal. Answer to your question, call the north shore or the Aspca they might be able to help you. Tell them your circumstances and see what they can do
I agree try putting your dog up for adoption
I would contact the ASPCA to ask them about it. They examined my dog last week who was very old and sickly. There was nothing more they could do for her so I requested to have her euthanized. Because of my financial situation, I was asked to pay what I could've.
How about rather than killing your dog you surrender your dog to a shelter and they'll find someone to love it instead
