I am a disabled veteran I was advised to reach out to matt. Was given letter by building to remove dog. I made it emotional support got medical letter not from my doc but went through the process non the less recieved a legitimate letter. I also have him as service dog ID. Anyway overall experience the aspca and him were both more supportive for me to get rid dog to shelter than protect fight for me to keep.

The ACC of NYC has a volunteer program.
Cats don’t WANT to have babies...
You can usually spay or neuter a kitten at the age of 3 months or 3 lbs. with an organization like Humane Society of NY or ASPCA. That is if it is an outside kitten, or if you have other unspayed/un -neutered cats together in your house. Otherwise have the surgery done at about 5 months. All pets should be spayed or neutered. Apart from having a good home it is the one most important thing you can do for them.
If they are friendly call the aspca and schedule an appointment. If you were a certified tnr there are more options.

Also reach out to Neighborhood Cats. They are an organization that helps people learn how to manage feral cat colonies and hooks up people like you with resources!
Call the ASPCA about low cost or free spaying and neutering.
