It is difficult to get through on the phone. Everyone in nyc knows their prices are far less. Drop by to set an appointment and bring your financial info if you need help.
If you live in the five boroughs of New York City the ASPCA has Vans to go around doing that very inexpensively. Just bring proof of identity address and your pet. Google ASPCA and call them and find out the closest mobile clinic date and time. They can tell you the cost on the phone. Their hospital is just around the corner from the Humane Society Clinic
They are much cheaper than your usually Vet. You can also email them and request appointment and ask questions it may be easier give them at least 2 day to get back to you. Check their website for the email. All office visit are paid in full beforehand and nonrefundable they take credit cards.
It was less than $200 to neuter and chip my dog. There was a quick required exam included. They has reduced fees for those who do not have the resources to pay the fees. If you require reduced fees, you must provide proof of your financial circumstances. My vetrainary practice charges over $800 for the neutering alone. Chipping is another $85.
Its the cheapest place for that. I'd say show up and make an appt there
