We took our kayaks from Clearwater Beach. It was a great trip ❤️ if you ferry over you can rent kayaks there and they have water trails through the mangroves. We just used Google maps and paddled through some of them 💞
You can rent a boat else where and drive it to the island. There are docks at the ranger station.
