To sit on the beach I don't know, we kayaked to it but their is a shelter with a big outside porch with picnic tables, they also serve food!
They offer rentals there at a decent price. However you can bring your own if you wish.

You can. It's a little bit of a walk after the ferry. If you don't want to carry them you can rent them on the beach. I believe 2 chairs and an umbrella all day was $26.50 and they'll set them up. Only take cards, no cash.

Bring your own chairs. There are chairs & umbrellas to rent. But 2nd day we went only umbrellas were available, chairs all locked up and no staff available to unlock. So free umbrellas, but glad I had my own chair.
