Just wanted to clarify. There is a small parking lot just across the street from the trailhead. It's the Redwood Meadow Campgrounds. I would say 15 spots, some larger then others.

Yes, you can park all throughout the park

When we were there, a month ago, that parking lot was blocked closed. Better call ahead and ask if its open again. The size of the RV is pretty important. The roads were very narrow.

You'd have to park along the main road outside the parking lot. The lot itself is very tight and crowded. Even our ram 1500 had a tight go of it. You just can't park within a certain distance of the entrance.

The road is about 30 miles long, so there's always some place that you can pull over and go for a walk.
