Cool place to visit. Lots of rocks too climb on but can also be a relatively easy short trail. Nice view of Mount McKinley in the background.

I came to the Alabama Hills to bike and incorporated the Arch into a 45 mile ride. This trail is short, narrow in places and allows bikes. The Arch is small (12×6) so don't expect Arches Natl Park, but it is really well defined and pretty. Path to Arch is easy, but is full of loose rocks and after the Arch requires some light maneuvering. There is a mile or so of dirt road to the site, but any vehicle can easily get to it.

The Arch Loop is not that difficult, but there are a lot of up and down slopes, slippery rocks, and loose gravel. Good boots and a walking stick are recommended. Depending on the sun direction, you can get some great shots of the Arch.

Open your soul to Mt Whitney and watch it travel through the arches of this trail. Heart Arch and Möbius Arch are worth the journey. An easy trail, good for all ages. Pets we’re welcome. The trail head is a little hard to find but look around for a bit and you’ll find it.

None. Nearest would be in Lone Pine town. Unless you can pop a squat
I had my dog there and other people had theirs there too. We were fine. No one said or complained.
