The dramatic canyon the city is named after. It's about a mile to the end from the trailhead at the top of the Cove housing development. Worth the extra rock scramble up to the plateau at the end. I've seen bighorn in several occasions, and tadpoles in the spring. Please do not bring dogs because just their smell will scare away the sheep..

No pets on the trail. The Mirada trails starting at Rancho Mirage city hall nearby are dog friendly, on a leash.
