Artists bluff and bald mountain Lonesome lake hike Old Bridal path for waterfalls Canon mountains
A huge free public walkway/ cycling path/ xski path tbat runs parallel to hwy 93. It's great! Goes by the Basin, echo lake, all the way to Cascade falls if you like. (you do need to pay to go to Cascade Falls though).
Best place to park is at the entrance to the Lafayette campground, yes its free to park.
The Flume Gorge is beautiful, and has a small fee. My favorite was Cloudland Falls. It is a more technical hike, featuring a number of waterfalls, is free and absolutely stunning!
Still free for the most part - only some boardwalks are ticketed. Even parking is still free - time will tell for how long. Getting on Mt Cannon costs $35 if you want to ride in aerial tramway - that is regardless if you take returning ride or not. Walking down took me good 6 hours - I did not try to run downhill, which might be not recommended for some.

Does anyone know if there are cabins in that place, I would like to go meet and stay for the night.
