One star for all the written racist/political graffiti on picnic benches/trees etc. All written in angry lettered black sharpie. ππ§ Hope we never meet as im sure you are there often more is added every time I go walking. π₯Έπ₯Έ Maybe groundskeepers can clean the mess up so people can enjoy a scenic walk without seeing hateful messages on trees :) thanks!

Lovely spot. Nice view of the river and sunset.

It's a nice state park, kind of in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately they Dighton Rock is in a cement building and closed for Covid. It doesn't seem like it's routinely open as there is a sign in the parking lot with a number to call to request access. There were to parks trucks in the parking lot when I visited... they don't allow swimming... so I guess you can go for a walk here.

I don't see why not. Not inside the museum of course, but there are trails in the woods and pubic areas, so why not?
There's a porta John there
Its not opened all the time. It only opens occasionally. Call the town of Dighton or State Park DCR.
No iam the Ranger and to see the museum you must make an appointment you must call the Freetown State Forest headquarters

Yes. Many people fish in the taunton river. There is plenty of coastline to find a quiet spot
