I’ve been to this lake before, I came again thinking I would have a fun time. But I had the total opposite me, and a few other people were not allowed to enter because there was no longer any available parking, so we basically had to wait on the side of the road until people came out.. which took FOREVER.

It's a great place to distract your mind. The location is clean and bathrooms are 7/10. There is limited parking so going on the holidays is a no go enless you get there at 4am. No speakers allowed, constant patrolling of patrons, Had a rude worker yell at me for wanting to park my vehicle with the nose facing the exit.

It's a nice place with a lake, picnic areas, grills, bathrooms but I feel that more could be done to accommodate handicapped than just the designated parking spots in the parking lots. It's a long walk with all of your gear to get to the table and grill area. We had to push our daughter in her wheelchair through some rocky terrain to get to the tables. I was hurting and had to stop a couple of times to recover. Handicapped should be allowed to drive closer to the tables just to unload stuff and people who cannot walk in my opinion. A nice place but I don't think I'd be able to go through all that again.

I LOVE this place! I've been coming for years and still enjoy it every single time I come back. They've got miles of great trails, some of which include lovely boardwalks through a beautiful green swamp. They have a public beach, with dozens of grills down at the beach; public bathrooms; a boat lunch; plenty of space for larger groups; and a lot else besides!! Don't miss out, go explore Douglas forest today.

I don't know, I would contact the state park with the question to get the most valid answer.
I think so
Yes
Its open but they turn people away beacause of parking they are probably full they are open till 730 to swim tho
It depends. If you're just hiking there are some small lots, dirt, gravel, that you can find. A couple on Rt. 16. If you go to the main entrance, there will be a fee for parking during the season. You can Google it for more details.
Go to park and ask.park attendances or go to office when entering park on left side
