I just adopted a puppy from there and they were excellent. Their open houses are a little chaotic and they are super careful about who they approve to adopt but it's for the safety of the animals and if you care about animals you shouldn't mind going through a process.
Homeward bound does have puppies. They are very helpful with the whole adoption process.

They are not helpful or organized and you cannot touch or hold pets, until you jump threw hoops and get approved just to be let down cuz they won't give up their animals
