I am pregnant and have been on the list for a while. They never answer calls and their hours are kind of confusing. I have been told by lots of friends and family it is hard to get a hold of them... The apartment I am currently in isn't the best/safest for a newborn so i am in desperate need of a new place to live.

Thank you Diane. I have been on Section 8 since 2004. I was hoping that I can find an apartment for myself with a roll-in shower. DSS has me in a hotel. I have been here for a month already. I really need an apartment Section 8 with a walk in shower
Have to fill out an application and right now section 8 is closed right now. You can apply for public housing and that can take up to a year or so
