Hello, I work for Los Padres National Forest and currently target shooting is prohibited. It is prohibited through January, 2020. There is nowhere on the Forest to legally target shoot at this time. You cannot get a permit to target shoot. There is a $5,000 fine if you are found target shooting on the Forest. You are allowed to hunt.
