No you need to go up to northern California for redwoods. Klamath California is full of them.
Hello, I work for Los Padres National Forest. There are beautiful tall coastal redwoods along the Big Sur coast located along Hwy 1. I highly recommend driving this stretch of Hwy 1 to see the redwoods and the ocean. The best CA State Parks to see the redwoods are Limekiln, Julia Pfeiffer Burns Day Use Park and Pfeiffer Burns/Big Sur State Park. Nice hikes through Limekiln. The redwoods are also in the Los Padres National Forest up in this area (the northern part of the forest), but it's easier to see them and hike through them in the CA State Parks up there. Also, there are opportunities to see redwoods in the Santa Cruz area and Muir Woods in Mill Valley across the Golden Gate Bridge north of San Francisco. There are no redwoods in southern California. Hope this helps.
