Hello, we have many campgrounds throughout the Los Padres National Forest. As suggested by Greg, go to our website: www.fs.usda.gov/lpnf and then go to recreation, campground camping and then the camping is listed under "ranger districts" call the ranger district for the area that you would like to camp in and district staff can help you further with finding a campground. We have campgrounds all way from near Los Angeles on the I5 Freeway in Frazier Park through Santa Barbara up to Big Sur. Most are $20-$35. It's too late to make a reservation, but you may be able to find a first-come, first-serve site. You can call me tomorrow at the headquarters office if you want at 805-968-6640. --Jennifer
Yes,go to the website and it should give you all the answers. I know rockfront has dry camping. Miranda pines also has dry camping but at some spots there are toilets, nothing fancy but it beats peeing behind a tree...lol. Have fun !!
