Hello. I work for Los Padres National Forest. There is snow on the Mt. Pinos Ranger District in Frazier Park off of the I-5 Freeway. There was quite a bit of snow several weeks ago on top of Mt. Pinos. A lot of it has probably melted, but it does snow in December through March and you can go sledding or snow shoeing. Some people cross country ski. For more information, call the ranger station at (661) 245-3731 X 0. There isn't any snow anywhere else on the Los Padres. The elevation is too low. The elevation up at Mt. Pinos is 8,000 feet, so be sure to dress warmly. Sometimes you need chains on your car.
