Can a home be turned into an Assisted Living Facility. I have been informed people who have purchased 2543 Sweetgum West has a permit to do this. Isn't this considered a business? How is that possible? This area is residential.

Even if they are not causing any issue for you, report them. You can anonymously call code enforcement on anyone, and its super fun to do. You probably want to call them weekly so they actually do something about this non issue.

From what I understand from the board meetings a home owner can rent their house out to multiple people. That person does need renters permit to do so. However, if it is an actual medical facility that is accepting health insurance checks for Assisted Living then I imagine this is not permitted. I imagine this sounds like someone who wants to help a few elderly people for some small rent checks. In which case as long as he or she has the permit to rent then everything is fine. I imagine its a fine line. Though, if its just a few people then you should really just let it go and leave your neighbor be. If it is a full blown operation of 10+ people then I imagine this could be an issue. Use precaution and try to be a friendly neighbor.
