Dr.Welpton has been my doctor for a little over 2 years now, and has helped me tremendously. He is very kind, and actually listens (amazing!) and then discusses different techniques and methods for identifying your personal triggers and stressors; and different coping mechanisms. Dr. Welpton has not ever once been judgemental or patronizing towards me like I have found in the past with some doctors, and I really can't thank him enough for helping me get through some of the roughest parts of my life during the last few years. He is the most kind , patient and understanding doctor. I’ve always felt so comfortable with him and like he truly listens to what I have to say. It took a weight off my chest just from the first visit . I would recommend him to anyone who needs someone to talk too and understand their feelings. Dr. Doug has been the best doctor I ever had he listens during your session he does not rush you and push you out the door. Its not all about medication with him at all he cares a lot about what's going on in your life and always wants to know what's going on. He's restored my life in my relationship and everything is so easy now in my life due to the way he is treated me. I told him that I was in dire need of a doctor and to talk to a psychiatrist and he was right there and had me in his office within a week. I would refer this doctor to anybody who needs a psychiatrist. Thank you doctor Doug for everything you have done for me.

Hi! The initial visit is always more expensive than the later visits and I know the price has gone up since I started seeing Dr Welpton a few years ago so I would call and find out if the doctor is even accepting new patients at this time and what is the current new patient price. Dr. Welpton is great but he has been my doctor for a little over 2 years already and he is a wonderful doctor BUT I do not know if he is taking new patients at this time or what the new patient cost is. This is as of June 2022.
Dr. Welpton is the best pysch I have ever had & I have been seeing different pysch docs since I was a child due to trauma. Hes easy to talk to always there honestly I dont knw how I would have gotten past the year without him! He really cares about his patients. Ty doc.
