Which tour do you recommend in taking for the first time visiting

I would do the whole thing. For $10 more you can do the explore more tour. Your already there and you've already paid the $39. Why not?...it is 2 tours with a 20 minute or so break in between.

We just went yesterday. Definitely do the basic one and if you have the money do the second. We really enjoyed both and learned a lot and saw different rooms in both.

The explore more! You get to see the basement.

Id say any. But to really get a good feeling of the house...id say a night tour. Or flashlight tour.

I have no clue since I've never been, but I wanted to extend my gratitude for your question and to inform you that I was exceedingly fond of it as well. I too do not know which tour to take when I go for my first time. My youngest child is now an adult & jetting off to college, & I'll be what's called an "empty nester" & will likely feel like one too. Though, I'll prob take my middle daughter who is now 21, a horror fan, & fascinated with both mental illness & architecture. I would like to also thank the people who answered with their opinions.
