Yes, they are correct! It is painted beautifully but it is NOT the original color scheme. I asked a tour guide and she said she believes it was originally "eggshell white" and "teal", then later painted a medium shade of green. Yes there are many styles of once, fancy wallpapers and the wallpaper in her favorite niece's room is all hand painted from Asia. Some rooms were left as-is after the 1906 earthquake.

Yes it's painted on the outside and certain areas inside. Wallpaper was very popular during that day and they have different styles of wallpaper. I think some of the wallpaper was imported from overseas and even I think Japan in one room
